Hale Hui Kai 309

Great place to stay!

The property was nice and well appointed. Nice kitchen with everything we needed to cook in. Property is nice and right on the beach. Pool is overlooking the beach and ocean, but was a bit cold and no hot tub. Beach was nice. Fantastic that the unit had like 6-7 beach chairs, and the kids loved the body boards. The biggest complaint was that the water temperature in the shower never got above luke warm. The kitchen would get scalding hot, but the showers were pretty terrible to take showers in. If both showers were going, the water was cold. If we turned off all other water in the unit then one shower would be warm, but not hot. So much so that my wife couldn't wait to leave to get a hot shower. We were only in the unit 3 nights and thought the first night the issue was everyone took a shower about the same time. But then it was clear on night two that it was just a water setting issue. but we only had one more day and it was Sunday, so not sure that it was going to make it worth calling to try to get it fixed.

We really enjoyed the condo in Kihei. It is at a great location, with a great beach and easy access to the bustling commercial space in Kihei and the tranquil Wailea resort area.

Great host, condo was well stocked, beach was close and easy access for swimming. Gorgeous sunsets from the Lania.

We enjoyed our stay at Hale Hui Kai #309. The condo was clean and the view was amazing. Everything was in working order. We have stayed in various condos over the years at Hale Hui Kai, and this is one we wouldn't hesitate to stay in again. The only complaint (which is no fault of the rental company) is that on our check out day, the cleaning crew was banging on the door, and attempting to enter at 9am, when checkout is at 10am. Since our plane was leaving until 3pm, we wanted to stay until 10, but then felt like we should try to hurry up and get out. It would be nice to not have that happen again.

Family of 4 started 3 nights. Great location, easy checkin! Really appreciated all the beach gear available!! I’ll definitely stay again!

The condo was clean, updated, and spacious. The view was great and the access to the beach was awesome. We used the beach chairs and umbrella. The complex had a front porch to sit by the beach and watch the sunset too! We were a little confused with the instructions about leaving towels/ bedding in the washer on the last day since we only had access to a public laundry rooom, but thought that might not be current.

We loved our time in Maui and at the Hale Hui Kai condos. We wish we could have stayed longer. The location is terrific - just at the border of Wailea and right next to a terrific snorkeling spot. Close to so many great things. Condo was clean and beautiful, with everything you would need (beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, kitchen equipment, etc). Highly recommend.

This condo was beautiful. Great oceanfront view of the beach. Unit was well stocked with essentials. Everything was very clean. The courtyard was beautifull with all the tropical plants.

Our stay at Hale Hui Kai #309 was perfect. The location is great, parking was not an issue and the condo is beautiful. A few things that are probably needed: blankets for the beds (master has just a very thin cover and sheet), new beach towels (only 4 and they were worn and very small), more then one kitchen towel, hand towels for both bathrooms, more utensils and a dish strainer so you don't have to run the dish washer all the time). The kitchen is big and beautiful and the beach is only a few steps away. We were very happy and hope to be back soon.

Kirstin is a fabulous property manager. Communication was detailed and prompt. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The views here can't be beat. The complex is right on Keawakapu Beach - the beat beach in the Kihei/Wailea area in my opinion. This is a smaller more intimate complex with a very nice lounge area out by the pool where guests have sunset happy hour each evening. Just a fabulous stay!

The rental experience was easy.

The apparent we rented was simply perfect. The apartment was very nice and clean It was stocked with everything we needed (beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler was a nice added bonus for a day at the beach along with many beach items for fun. The balcony has amazing views, great location close to many restaurants and shops and fun activities. Wonderful to be able to walk downstairs and be at the beach. The host was very easy to communicate with. Everything went smooth and we had a blast. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Maui and will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

All good. Great location, fantastic beach, great for snorkeling. Furniture somewhat run down but not a big deal. Great kitchen.

Beautiful condo right on the beach! Condo was exactly as described and pictured. It was equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions I had before and during my stay.
